Banking - Banking in Guam is regulated under both U.S. federal and domestic banking law requiring commercial banks and savings & loans to maintain insured deposits through the FDIC. Commercial banks are the main players in Guam's banking system. Currently there are 3 domestic and 3 locally incorporated foreign commercial banks operating through a network of branches throughout the island. These institutions are Bank of Guam, Bank Pacific, Citizens Security Bank and Citibank, N.A., Bank of Hawaii, and First Hawaiian Bank.

There are also 3 Credit Unions on island. Community First Guam Federal Credit Union, Government of Guam Employees Credit Union, and Pentagon Federal Credit Union. These institutions maintain automated teller machines all over the island that are networked with Cirrus, Star, Plus and other systems for convenient access to cash.

In addition to retail banking services, 5 finance companies accept savings and fixed deposits and provide purchase financing and consumer financing. These are Wells Fargo, Guam Financial, Finance Factors and Personal Finance. There are also a number of remittance companies (i.e. Western Union) and foreign exchange companies (i.e. Rustan's Foreign Exchange) that can easily wire transfer fund to anywhere in the world.

Friday, 9:00 a.m.– 6:00 p.m..
Saturday, 9:00am – 12:00 p.m. (Some Branches) Closed on Sundays and holidays

Securities Brokers - There are several securities and investment firms that have established full service offices in Guam, among them are Solomon, BG Investment, Merrill Lynch, and Asia Pacific Investors. Twelve IS investment companies among them Pruco Securities, Bancwest Investment, and Lincoln Financial Advisors also have a presence.

Accounting & Audit - Three of the big four accounting firms, Deloitte, Touche, Ernst & Young and Grant Thorton have offices in Guam that offer a full range of services such as accounting, audit, tax reporting & tax advisory services, business risk, technology and security risk services.
