GBB SOLID WASTE REPORT TO THE GUAM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

News Date: 07-July-2009 At the Guam Chamber of Commerce July 22nd General Membership Meeting Mr. David Manning, Gershman, Brickner and Bratton (GBB), gave chamber members an update on their progress to date.  He touched on the ongoing operations at the Ordot Dump and construction of Layon Landfill, highlighting the data collection process of the newly installed weight scale.  Mr. Manning also discussed the cost elements driving tipping and residential fees, and the decision to implement them in a three-step process.  He emphasized the importance of the military's commitment to participating in the island's solid waste program, as their participation would help keep costs significantly lower for all other users.
